[more]The Whitby Wizard is a science museum and it is the first of its kind in North Yorkshire. The museum has nearly 100 experiments to try out and is run by Mr Dag Kjelldahl. Dag is from Norway and moved to Whitby in 1999 he also opened a successful science centre in Norway. Experiments are interactive and include testing the sense of smell, plus other experiments that involve the human skeleton and light and colour.
Entrance fee is £2.50 with concessions for children and groups.
Opening times Easter to October 11.00am - 5.00pm except Mondays.
Fridays 1.30pm - 5.00pm
Also open most weekends and school holidays
The long distance walk "The Cleveland Way" passes close to this attraction.
