This reviewer was very impressed with the "hidden treasure" that is Bis Geos, not least because he was getting "five-star accommodation" on only £12 a night. This being a hostel, it had bunks rather than beds, but because they are split into areas which are curtained off, it afforded guests "a good level of privacy". The rooms were "spotless", as was the rest of the place, and "well cared for".
The design of the hostel was a hit with its "fishing boat theme", as it was "tasteful" rather than "over the top". The "German backpacker" who designed the place obviously knew "what people like", like a big kitchen equipped with "all you need", electric showers and so on. They received a "friendly" welcome and noted that the staff would "even do some shopping" as long as they are given enough notice. One small complaint however, was that at the time of their stay, the other residents of the hostel were workers doing a job locally, and so there were no "other travellers to talk to".
They appreciated the hostel's location "off the beaten path" as it had "fantastic views" which would have been "hard to beat". The downside of that was that it was "a reasonable walk away" from the shops and you had to be organised with supplies.
Overall, the hostel "exceeded" standards previously encountered and he "would return". He recommends the accommodation "very highly".
