Tudor - Cape Town, South Africa - January, 2007
Quaint and central accommodations (12.01.2008 11:11)
The Tudor Hotel is conveniently located on Greenmarket Square, adjacent to the Park Inn, which happens to have an intimate and cosy bar. It is the oldest hotel in Cape Town and therefore has such oddities as a minute, cranky elevator and somewhat small rooms. The bathroom was small and somewhat claustrophobic, consisting only of a toilet, shower and art deco basin. There is no restaurant or bar [more...]

I rate the Cango Wildlife Ranch as the highlight of my visit to the region, not purely for the enjoyment of the good facilities but also for the [more...]

Avalon Springs - Montagu, South Africa - June, 1995
Magic moments in Montagu (21.06.2006 16:35)
Very good value for money - the ideal place to unwind with great facilities for the health-orientated guest who wishes to gym, sauna, have massages etc. Very relaxed and friendly ambiance throughout. Weekends may be slightly crowded, but midweek the Avalon is definitely one of the best spots I have ever encountered for total relaxation. [more...]
