Article
[micksheff, 07.07.2007] This place is described as an "attractive red hotel" which is "one of the city's oldest". Its public rooms "have retained their warm, old-world character". Whilst the guest rooms "have been renovated" but the author points out that this is "perhaps to their detriment". They are described as "simply" decorated and the "choice of fabrics used" is said to be "sometimes questionable". On a more positive note these rooms "are quiet, despite the hotel's harried location". This hotel is located "on the waterfront at the foot of the Ignatius Rice Bridge".
This hotel is recommended by Frommers.
