[jeffjen, 08/11/2011] Premier Inn Wakefield City North is just one and a half miles from Wakefield City Centre, located on a business park a couple of minutes drive from the M1 junction 41, making it also an ideal place to stop over to break up long motorway journeys.
Finding the hotel was really easy after leaving the M1 at junction 41, we followed the A650 for a couple of minutes before turning right at a roundabout which led into the business park. We could see the hotel from the A650 so there was no driving around the business park looking for it.

[jeffjen, 06/10/2011] A recent trip to Leeds and Wakefield meant I needed to book a hotel room. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels over the years, but have only stayed at a couple of Holiday Inn hotels which are seen as superior to the budget 'Express' relations. Based on my experience I have actually preferred the Holiday Inn Express out of the two, but will always consider a stay at a Holiday Inn when weighing up my options.
