The Express by Holiday Inn Wakefield is located at J39 of the M1, an ideal base for both business and leisure guests. The hotel has high speed wireless internet access in all the bedrooms and public areas. All rooms offer satellite TV, in-room movies, modem points, direct dial phones, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryer and power showers.
The Arndale Shopping Centre is located right in the heart of Manchester city centre and is two floors high with an array of shops to choose from. There are multiple entrances into the complex and you can also enter through many of the stores that are located on the main shopping street.
The Arndale has its own NCP car park which is a pay and display car park and visitors can come out of the car park and straight into the Arndale. The Arndale Centre also features a traditional market area.
The Arndale houses over 200 different stores and has a wide variety of food restaurants including Starbucks and Nando's. During the year they host a lot of events and the Virgin Megastore that was opened by Richard Branson even has a stage for live performances.
Visitors can buy gift cards for the Arndale which can be used in any of the stores here and these can be bought at the customer service desk or you can purchase these online.

Sunday - from 11am until 5pm
The Merseyway Shopping Centre
The Merseyway Shopping Centre in Stockport consists of a variety of different shops, department stores and a range of eateries. The shopping centre has a range of shops including well known stores.
It is open daily and the hours are as follows:
Monday to Saturday - from 9am until 5.30pm
Sunday - from 10am until 4pm
There is a pay and display public car park located just behind the shopping centre and local transport also runs adjacent to the main shopping area.
The Merseyway Shopping Centre also hosts events throughout the year and has many activities going on throughout the summer for children in the main square.
Opus nightclub is housed inside the Printworks building in Manchester city centre.
Due to it's prime location, it is easily accesible for a lot of visitors by train from Victoria station which is just around the corner.
Opus has a range of club nights to suit all tastes and they can also arrange private events for special occasions or business events.
You can get yourself on the guestlist by going online and can also sign up for membership which will give you access to special invites and be frst to find out new information on the club.
There has been a church on the cathedral site since the 8th century; but it wasn't until 1836 that the building as we see it today became a cathedral.
The cathedral is open daily to the public and a donation of £3 is suggested. There is a gift shop and a museum. If you wish to take photographs or film inside then you do need to purchase a permit for a small fee.
As well as being a theme park, Lightwater Valley also incorporates a Shopping Village and Bird of Prey Centre. The theme park is open mostly throughout the summer, although it does open for parts of September and October as well. It opens at 10am and closes from 4.30pm depending on the time of year. The park caters for groups, including school parties.
The Shopping Village is open throughout the year as is the Bird of Prey Centre, which is located inside the Village. The entry fee for the Bird of Prey Centre is £3.50 for adults and £2.50 for children.
