Right by the beach with great pool and sunbathing area which although busy and popular did not feel crowded.
Staff were excellent and attentive, all spoke very good english

[Travelline, 16/12/2008] Vilamoura - Built from scratch in 1974, the cosmopolitan resort of Vilamoura is now one of the largest purpose built resorts in Europe. The area is surrounded by fabulous sport facilities; not least 5 top quality championship golf courses wich attract millions of players every year. Also home to the largest casino in the Algarve with its gaming room, slot machines and nightclub. Next door to Vilamoura is Quarteira which is the home of the weekly Gypsy market held each Wednesday.

So it was a new experience for me to visit such a place and I enjoyed it although I'm
