[Babli88, 04.05.2008] The studio apartment was very basic but clean and comfortable and reasonably roomy. Our apartment had no balcony or outside area, but Vilamoura Marina is literally just round the corner and both beaches are within walking distance

Studio apartment was good size for two and daily chambermaid service (except Sundays/public holidays) kept it adequately clean. Kitchen facilities were OK - fridge, microwave, hob and oven. Reasonable bath/shower with bidet. There was also a TV - but you can only view 3 Portugese channels! There was a safety deposit draw inside the apartment (available from reception at 10 euros for week + deposit of 15 euros). View out over fairly quiet roads to front. Overall the apartment felt in need of refurbishment.

General Condition

The reception is located in a different block (about 2 minutes away) and seems to cover several different apartment blocks, but we found the staff there were helpful. We found Mouraliz just a little bit dated, but overall good value for money.

Shopping Opportunities

Vilamoura is a lovely location for a relaxing break with a choice of chilling out on the beach, wandering round the marina, taking boat trips, hopping on local buses to visit Fara/Albufeira, and a really good choice of restaurants and bars to sample in the resort.
