A great advantage of the hotel is that it's very quiet and spacious; the hotel is a favourite for conferences and seminars and has an entire floor dedicated to events.
It is situated in a quiet area directly adjacent to Türkenschanzpark, a very charming and beautiful park. Grinzing and Neustift, popular wine villages, are only 10 minutes away by bus and are known for their popular Heuriger where you can drink young wine from local vineyards along with cheese or cold-cuts. The hotel can be reached from the city centre by taking the 40A bus from beside Schottentor metro station and getting off at the Dänenstrasse stop.
In the rooms, guests are greeted by modern, contemporary interior design. The rooms are bright enough to read in and are well-equipped with technical features including wireless Internet access (fees), coffee / tea maker, trouser press.
The restaurant serves a fine balance of classic Viennese cuisine, as well as authentically prepared Mediterranean and Asian specialities. Also, an excellent Sunday Brunch is served at noon and is replaced with a summer menu during the summer months.
By Car: arriving from the A2 highway (Südautobahn): Exit at Handelskai, then turn left onto Handelskai and follow it to the exit Gürtelbrücke. Follow Adalbert Stifter Straße as far as the underground station Nussdorferstrasse, there turn left into illrothstrasse in the direction of Grinzing, and turn left atthe second traffic light into Peter Jordan Strasse. Arriving from the A1 highway (Westautobahn): follow Hadikgasse in the direction of downtown (Zentrum), turn left at Schönbrunn Palace into Schlossallee, which then becomes Johnstrasse. Follow this street as it successively becomes Possingergasse, Wattgasse and Gersthofer Strasse. Turn right at Türkenschanzplatz, then turn immediately left into Max Emanuel Strasse and then into Peter Jordan Strasse.
