[FROMDOWNUNDER, 12/02/2012] WELL HE SHOULD HAVE--AD PLACE IS JUST WONDERFUL-FROM THE MOMENT YOU WALK IN TILL YOU LEAVE YOUR EVERY WISH IS AT YOUR FINGERTIPS THANKS TO THE EVER ATTENTIVE STAFF. YES THERE IS A FEW STEPS, BUT, YOU NEED TO STREACH THE "HAMMYS" FOR EXPLORING VENICE. WE WILL BE BACK.
[TeamHobsom, 04/02/2012] We stayed in February and couldn't fault it. A perfect romantic getaway. We'll definitely be back!
[danamccall, 27/01/2012] We stayed at the Ca'dei Conti January 13-15, 2012 and found it to be an excellent place. The room was enormous. The breakfast was great. The location was very convenient. The front desk staff was very helpful and the bell hop staff was very informative. Their recommendations for restaurants were excellent. I'd been told that accomodations in Venice were not clean but we could not have found a more well-kept place. It was spotless! The American coffee was the only thing that could have improved but the lady running the cappacino machine made any other coffee pale in comparison! If we are ever

[Doll, 20/01/2012] I organised a special trip marking our wedding anniversay and my husband's birthday. The Ca dei Conti had a "wow" factor on the internet. When we got there we were told that our allocated room had been flooded so they were going to transfer us to a different hotel. From reading previous reviews this was not the first time this had happened, so we kept firm to stay in the hotel and they placed us in an annex, separate to the hotel (almost like a block of flats).
We were taken to the attic.... there was no safe in the room, the bidet didnt work, the television had been changed to German

[fauxaround, 20/12/2011] My husband stayed on the second floor overlooking the canel, and it was wonderful. I loved this hotel. It was very clean and a great location.
[abluemark, 10/11/2011] This lovely small centrally located hotel, delivers a personal touch. All staff very friendly and helpful.
Rooms are very clean and modern but with a venetian touch. Bathrooms very good.
Lovely views to across rooftops to the Basillica.
Breakfast can be taken in room or in reception area. Excellent coffee or chocolate and fresh rolls.
Given the price banding this hotel really delivers. Fantastic value.
Some rooms very high and only accessable by staircase ( lift for luggage only ) might be difficult for elderly or infirm.
Enjoyed every minute.
[BellaButterfly, 07/11/2011] This hotel is very quaint, beautiful, and incredibly romantic. The location on Campo Santo Stefano is perfect for sightseeing, shopping, and cafe-hopping. Our hotel had a wonderful view over the campo and the adjacent church. The hotel owner is very sweet and helped us with restaurant reservations and a water taxi. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!
[tuquet, 24/10/2011] First the plus points. Great position to explore Venice, close to the vaporetto stop and within walking distance of all the major attractions. Hotel is comfortable and in reasonable decor. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. Staff were very helpful. Had a very peaceful stay with little disturbance from outside.
Downside is that some rooms are a trek from the entrance along winding corridors and very few overlook the Grand Canal. The amenities are poor with no lounge, bar or restaurant although there are plenty to choose from in the surrounding area. Some seating in the lobby ar

[angelah38, 16/10/2011] We had a great stay here; the apartment is easy to get to, central to bus (boat) routes, and nicely furnished. Silvia and Piero are really nice; be sure to ask them for some local places to eat, things to do, and places to see. They speak excellent English, which helps a lot.
The apartment is perfectly Venetian; old on the outside, but lovely on the inside.
The perfect place for a trip to the beautiful Venice.
[eastridingowl, 13/10/2011] Stayed at the AD Place for five nights as a special treat. It's not cheap (just like Venice!) but we felt really pampered. Room overlooked canal (some way down!) and we were serenaded by the gondoliers passing below. As it was a superior room, we got a bottle of champagne (with nibbles and strawberries) which was very welcome. We also liked the endless supply of coffee just outside our room, often with cakes or other treats; this was great for a mid afternoon break when our feet were really aching after serious sight-seeing. We would stay again, and can thoroughly recommend this romantic

[heather01, 10/10/2011] My boyfriend at the time surprised me while I was in Venice and proposed. He reserved a suite at the Ruzzini Palace that evening. The room was absolutely gorgeous and looked out into the Campo Santa Maria Formosa which is a beautiful courtyard. It was such a magical experience! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a lovely place to stay in Venice!
[DebraC, 01/10/2011] We chose this hotel because of the great reviews and location. Thanks to all that take the time to write so that the rest of us can learn from your experiences. And now I can return the favor by telling you how much we enjoyed our stay in Venice and at the Wildner. Before coming here, I researched the best hotels and enotecas that offered cheap prices. I printed out maps and directions from the vaporetti stops. I bought two 48 hour vaporetti tickets online for 27 euros each. The vaporetti are a must for getting around in Venice. Walking is fine and is the only way to see the wonders of the bac

[bexterdexter80, 15/08/2011] Absolutely fantastic stay here last week.. 24 hour service, lovely helpful people, great breakfast and the room was fab. Very clean and the location of hotel was absolutely great - quiet but close to everything and out of the craziness of St Mark's side. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
[anabanana, 11/07/2011] The hotel is wonderful- in the middle of everything in Venice. It is easy to go there from the airport and from the station.
The staff is very helpful and nice. People are kind and try to help you with all your problems. You can use the Internet and the printer if you need to. Rooms are clean and airconditioned- what is very important in summer:). Bathrooms are nice, clean with shampoo, shower cream and towels.
Breakfast is nice- continental buffet: lots of fruit, sweet croisants, rolls, fried eggs with bacon, yoghurt, jam, honey, salad, toasts, tea, coffe, milk, chocolate. The breakfast ro

[Vasileva71, 15/06/2011] This is a great place for relax. Crowded with people and tourists like me. Pass under the bridge many excursion boats and small vessels. Also tourist guide explained to us that this is one of the most romantic places in the world and there every day were engaged more than 10 families. There is a symphonic group that gave a large dose of good mood.
[veny, 11/06/2011] This is one of the most romantic places. It is in the centre of Venice on the Grand Canal. I saw it for the first time in 2007year. This was one of the best views which I was saw. Nearby there are good restaurants that offer delicious pizzas, for the first time I ate Italian pizza there and it was very delicious. I hope to visit one more time this wonderfully place.
[sucakina, 09/05/2011] I stayed here with my 3 daughters in 2009. The hotel was immaculate and the service second to none. The location is perfect - walking distance to anywhere, handy for vapporeto stops yet not too busy.
Have been careful not to recommend it to too many people to ensure there will be rooms available for when I return. However that is rather selfish!
[travelbaba, 05/05/2011] Just 2 minutes from Rialto and St. Mark's square, basi rooms but clean and comfortable.
breakfast also basic, but on the corner there is Rosa Salva, wher the do the perfect Capuccino and Croissant!!!
Service is welcoming, the B&B is private, silent and finally cheap.
Thanks to the owner for the goo restaurant tipps!!!
[travelbaba, 05/05/2011] A nice first class inn just 10 minutes from S.mark's square, the rooms are very well fournished, in old venetian style. There is a beutiful entrance with a door directly in a canal leading to canal grande.
italian breakfast, not so aboundant but well served in a nice atmosphere.
I feel satysfied, I will suggest further.
[axelrod, 12/04/2011] This is THE worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The reception desk is not on the ground floor, and there are no elevators here. The staff did not help me or my wife with our luggage. I had to tell my wife to leave the bag down so I had to make two trips up for our bags. The reception person wanted to keep our passports, so he could write down a passport number, but he put it in a cubby as if he was going to keep our passports, when we objected, he said "is this the first time you're staying at a hotel?" VERY RUDE!
The night reception person was not any better. You have to get a code for the
