Last summer we spent a week holiday in this cosy family run hotel on the south shore of the lake. The hotel has been completly renovated and the stylished an warm decoration follows you from the entrance to the cellar. The familiy Lecocq is running the hotel with such engagement that you feel at home from the moment you arrive. In the hotel there is a indoor pool, sauna, gym, children playroom, bibliothek, and a children playground which we enjoyed with our boys very much. We had breakfast and dinner every day on the big terrace wich offers a splendid view on the lake until Velden. The food was delicious and I enjoyed the big salad bar every day. The hotel itself is about 4 km from Veldens center away but this was with our children exactly what we looked for. Nice, spacious and quite and when we wanted to see the city we where inside in 5 minutes.
Very important is also the big own beach. The water was not deep at its place so that the children could play without danger. super was laso that the carinthian Card was included, this is like a credit card and you can visit over 100 sight seeingpoints in Carinthia for free.
This is really a place to recommend and we are certainly coming back this summer.
