All rooms and apartments are furnished with designer furniture.
Hotel mOdus offers 24-hour reception, room service, rooms for non-smokers, rooms/facilities for disabled guests, lift, express Check-In/Check-Out service, heating, sauna, fitness centre, massage.
The bistro of hotel mOdus offers a la carte menu and has 24 seats and a summer garden.
The hotel is centrally located, with easy access to the major commercial, shopping and entertainment areas. A pleasant 2-3 minutes walk takes guests directly to the Varna city centre, the Sea Garden and the beach.
The Archaeological Museum Ancient Nessebar is located at the beginning of the Old town of Nessebar. The museum is situated next to the fortress walls, to the right. The museum exists since 1956. Initially the museum’s exhibits were presented in the St. John the Baptist church. Some years later, in 1994, the museum was moved in new built building.
The exhibits are shown in four halls, one of them has only icons. Here you may see the document certifying the entry of Old Nessebar in the list of World cultural heritage. In the museum one may see items related to the history of the city, such as statues, ornaments, anchors, amphorae and coins from different eras.
The Archaeological Museum also includes St. Stephen church and St. Spass church. The museum is open to visitors every day.
The opening hours are from Monday to Friday - from 9 am to 7 pm., Saturday and Sunday – from 9am to 1 pm., and from 1.30 pm to 6 pm.
The entrance fee is : 4 lv for adults, students and disabled people for each museum - 2.00 lv., for kids 2 lv. For visitors who have combined tickets (for museum, St. Stephen church and St. Spass church) These may be bought only in the Archaeological Museum.
Nessebar - Stariat Grad
Nessebar is a Bulgarian city, situated on the Black sea coast of Bulgaria. It is an ancient city with many museums and churches - the Church of St Sophia or the Old Bishopric, the Church of John the Baptist, Church of St John Aliturgetos and many others. At the entrance of the city there is very attractive wooden windmill from the middle of the 18th century.
The first name, that Thracian gave to the town is Mesimvria (from Greek). After becoming a Greek colony, then Roman and from the 5th century, became one of the most important strongholds of the Byzantine Empire. The Bulgarian name of Nesebar or Mesebar appeared in the 11th century. Nessebar is also a major sea side resort, with Sunny Beach just to the north.
