In the author's opinion, The Westin Grand is a "new luxury-level hotel" which is "elegant" and "understated". It is situated "across from the new public library and next to the Centre for the Performing Arts". Guests can "easily" walk to Yaletown as well as GM Place and Robson Square to go shopping. The hotel "offers high-end all-suite accomodations" which are "spacious". Since they have "floor-to-ceiling windows", the suites are "bright".
