Long known as a top fishing destination on British Columbia’s Inside Passage, the all-inclusive luxury resort also offers ecotours for viewing of orcas, sea lions, Pacific white-sided dolphins, eagles, and more. Bear-watching tours view grizzlies as they forage for fish. This year, the resort adds a new twin-engine Bell / Agusta helicopter to whisk up to 15 guests at a time off to golf courses, glaciers, ski adventures, and hiking anywhere within a 100-mile radius. It also provides first-class transportation to and from Vancouver’s airport and the resort. Meanwhile, tennis lovers play at the resort’s newly resurfaced court, while golfers travel by Black Fin yacht to nearby Storey Creek Golf Course—a consistent presence on Golf Digest’s Places to Play list.
