[24.04.2007] This ride is located in the Las Vegas Hilton, just off the north end of the Strip. They call it "The Experience," and it really is, as it is much more than just a simulator ride. Your ticket allows you to wander at your leisure through "History of the Future," which is full of Star Trek memorabilia. Even if you are not a true fan, you will still find it entertaining to see all the strange stuff they have on show. [more]

[23.04.2007] Excellent hotel in an excellent location in an excellent city. Close to everything, walkable to most things, heat pending and one of the best buffet breakfasts in Vegas. [more]

[19.04.2007] I booked my tickets for the Statue of Liberty on the web, the day after they allowed booking. I was very excited and booked tickets to go to the second level of the statue, where you can see through a glass ceiling to see the inside of the building and can also get a higher viewing platform or so I thought. The e-mail confirmation suggested getting to the departure point Battery Park -- two hours before our 12:4 [more]

[18.04.2007] The Empire State Building is a must-see and must-do when in New York. We booked our tickets online before we went, where you get electronic tickets to print out - very easy. We chose to have both the observatory tickets and the Skyride. We went in September and didnt have to queue for the Skyride. You have to go through two separate introduction rooms before you actually get on the ride itself. As part of the intr [more]

[18.04.2007] I have stayed in a few Embassy Suites ans have usually had a good stay, but this was not one of them. The actual hotel is great, the rooms are big and the view across the river great, but the general service etc was very poor. [more]

[17.04.2007] Zion is a photographer's dream. It is very mountainous, with huge, high red mountains. As the light catches them during different parts of the day, their looks change dramatically. If you can stay for sunset, they are truly magnificent. There are shuttle buses that run regularly throughout the park and stop off at all the main views and trails. The lodge is a good place to note, as it has a café where you can get [more]

[17.04.2007] Bryce Canyon defies words, it is truly the most spectacular natural wonder I have ever seen. That includes the Grand Canyon, which although vast and spectacular is not nearly as beautiful and visually stunning as Bryce. You can either use your own car or use the shuttles which cover most of the major sites. There are lots of trails in the park ranging from moderate to very strenuous. Make sure you look at the info [more]

[17.04.2007] South Entrance to West Thumb We traveled to Yellowstone via the south entrance from our base at Teton Village. The views are beautiful and the journey very scenic. The journey around Yellowstone can be broken into segments and the South entrance to West Thumb Junction is the first of these. At the entrance you pay and then get a guide to the park with maps, etc. As you travel along the road you see fantastic pa [more]

[16.04.2007] We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, although if you are planning a visit to Yellowstone I would recommend getting accommodation either in the park itself or to the east or west side. This hotel is to the south and we had to travel 60 miles to get to the southern most point of the park and then you still have to travel the park itself to see the sights. By locating yourself on either side of the park, you could [more]
