[koshkha, 25.11.2006] The Geograph British Isles website is part of an on-going project to gather geographically representative photos from every quare kilometer of the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Visitors can view the photos already in the site and sign up to contribute their own images. To date, almost 3000 members have contributed nearly 300,000 images which together cover just under 50% of the total target area.
