Overall for me this is the kind of place to stay if on a tight budget but wanting the specific area. I could only find this one within my budget within the area of Notting Hill and wanted to be able to walk to the Royal Albert Hall if I chose to (which we did) and it took us about 20 minutes of strolling. For the price of a room (just under £50 for the two of us - no breakfast) it was a good choice for us and would be for anyone on a budget - the rooms are basic but importantly they are clean which is really one of the most important things to look for! The MEN is is in the centre of Manchester and is host to hundreds of different events each year. There is nearly always something on at the venue and this place can hold a staggering 21,000 people! The venue is mainly popular for concerts such as bands etc but there will be comedy acts such as Peter Kay along with other various shows such as Cirque Du Soleil and exhibitions too.
