Description: The canopy tours give visitors the opportunity to harness up and glide between the trees, obtaining a birdseye-view of the forest below. There are ten platforms on the route and guides provide information about the fauna, flora, birdlife and ecology in general.
There are more than 100 species of trees alone, many of them ancient mammoths, and the tour lasts for approximately 3 hours. Funds generated by tourists are also applied to the conservation of the forests. Some of the options available include a flight to the private airstrip at Plettenberg Bay.
