Particularly worth a visit are the baroque pilgrim's church, the visitor mine and the museum “Heimethus“, which is housed within a 250-year-old Black Forest building.
The peak of the "Hausberg", which allows a panoramic alpine view during good weather, invites the active holiday-maker to go Nordic walking, hiking or mountain biking. In the summer, after a hike through the "Kaffee / Glühweinpfad“, through the "Rabenschlucht“, to the waterfall in Hintertodtmoos or along the picturesque river Wehra, you can cool down at the outdoor pool “Aqua Treff“.By car:
- Take the A5 motorway Karlsruhe - Basel, and take the exit "Freiburg Mitte". Continue straight ahead through Freiburg, and follow the signs for "Todtnau" and "Schauinsland" towards Todtnau.
- In Todtnau, turn right towards Basel / Todtmoos and after approx. 3 km turn left towards Todtmoos
- In Todtmoos turn left after the DEA petrol station, towards "St. Blasien"
- After the first sharp curve once you have left the town, you will see the hotel entrance on the left-hand side
- Coming via the A81 Stuttgart - Singen, take the exit "Donaueschingen - Freiburg"
- Continue towards Freiburg and Titisee-Neustadt, and then turn right towards Basel – Todtnau
- In Bärental keep to the left in the direction of Schluchsee - Waldshut. At the start of lake Schluchsee, turn right towards Menzenschwand and follow the signs to Bernau
- In Bernau turn left and drive through the town towards Todtmoos
- In Todtmoos turn left after the DEA petrol station, towards "St. Blasien"

The hotel provides numerous opportunities for recreation and relaxation, offering - among other amenities - a wellness area. Cancellation Policy: If cancelled or modified up to 12:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.
