We found this hotel to be very fucntional and appropriate for a short business trip. It features easy access to a major highway which means you are steps away from Houston or whatever business interest you may have in Katy itself. For whatever it's worth, this is my favourite attraction in San Antonio. The National Geographic Society has called the Spanish Governor's Palace the "most beautiful building in San Antonio": and for good reason. The building was built in the mid 1700s. The first time I saw the Alamo in person, I was simply driving past. It impressed me then. It sits in the middle of the city's downtown; there's a certain humble dignity about the structure.
