Description: High Force waterfall is situated in the North Pennines, an area which has been designated a place of outstanding natural beauty and a UNESCO European Geopark.

Visitors can follow a woodland walk for just under 1 km, before seeing the River Tees drop 21 metres into the Whin Sill rock, and into a plunge pool directly below. Along the walk there are resting places and visitors can picnic in the designated areas and buy items in the souvenir shop.

Open all year, there are toilet facilities and adapted toilets for disabled visitors. Wheelchair access is limited and dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads

1.5 Euros (Adult), 1 Euro (children and concessions)
