The owners have opened up three of the original inglenook fireplaces and a complete working well over 30 feet deep which was uncovered in the kitchen,please note the rest.is used Monday-Thursday by business people,who prefer to eat in, and we have found that,our weekend guests tend to go into Taunton rather than eat at the hotel, therefore, please check with the hotel if the rest. is open,as we may have other fuctions booked in advance at weekends.We can advise on where to eat if dinning room is booked.Pleae note that during the high season,May+September rooms booked at weekends must be for a min. of two nights A credit card is required as a guarantee. If the booking is not cancelled outside of the cancellation notice period, your credit card will be charged with the full amount of the booking.
