Great day out and not too expensive either!
I have been to drayton manor on numerous occasions and first discovered the place when i was in high scool and we went on a school trip - i'd never even heard of it then and wasn't sure if i was going to like it but boy i was wrong! Great day out at Drayton Manor
I go to Drayton Manor at least once a year, as i believe it is once of the best theme parks in the UK. There are plenty of places to get something to eat and drink and are quite reasonably priced. The great thrill rides you must try are Apocalypse, Shockwave, Stormforce 10, Maelstrom, Pandemonium, G-Force and Splash canyon. As well as all the [more...]

Drayton Manor Theme Park was the winner of 'Best UK attraction 2006' (group leisure) and 'UK Attraction of the year 2006' (coach tourism). It is open from March to October every year (specific dates during the month vary) with special openings until late for fireworks at the end of season. The standard opening times are between 9.30am until 5 or 6pm with rides normally opening at 10.30am and closing half an hour before the park gates close. The stadard ticket prices for the theme park are: Adults (over 12 years old) - £20.95 (32 Euros) Children (aged 4-11) - £16.95 (26 Euros) Children under 4 - Free There are also concession tickets and various family tickets available. Drayton Manor has it's own zoo which on some days is open even if the rides are not operating. The park also has it's own campsite for families and pitches for tents start at just £11 per night. They have 75 spaces available. |
