Room with a nice view. Very clean hotel with good staff, great breakfast. Nothing to complain about, except our air condition broke, but we were given a new room immediately.

Great hotel

== Location == This was the first hotel we stayed in when visiting Tallinn and it was only one night. After a long day of travelling, my sister and I didn’t fancy figuring out the Estonian public transport system so got a taxi to our hotel and luckily, it only cost close to €7. The location of the hotel was a bit strange though and we both looked a little worried about the area it was in as we were driving to it. We needn’t have worried though. ...

Kaerajaan is situated in the heart of the city centre on the famous Old Town Square of Tallinn. The restaurant is located on the first floor with about 50 seats. The ground floor contains the cafe with about 40 seats. The place is named after an Estonian folk dance and song, which was made about a well-known Estonian man who was constantly eating in his kitchen. Kaerajaan is rated as 29th out of a list of 50 within the best restaurants in Estonia. It is traditional with a modern twist in interior, menu and music. The ceiling is decorated with national ornaments, lampshades are covered with woollen mittens, but the furniture and crockery is quite modern. The menu presents a haute cuisine with Estonian flavours. Reservation and personal assistance are available by calling +372 6155400.

Peppersack is a medieval restaurant with the appropriate interior and menu. It is located in one of the oldest buildings in the Old Town area of Tallinn, the first mention of which was found in writings dating back to the year 1370. Its present name was first mentioned in 1520, and it means " a bag of pepper", which decorates the exterior view of the restaurant. The interior of Peppersack has tall ceilings with wooden beams, painted in the original style. Plus unique twisted ladders made of wood and uneven walls, covered with a dark patina of candles and torches. There are waiters in medieval costumes and heavy wooden tables. Every day at around 8pm a sword fight takes place, followed by oriental dancing on Fridays and Saturdays. The restaurant and barbeque menu includes pork, beef, chicken duck, lamb and fish dishes, the breakfast menu - English, Estonian and Russian breakfasts. Reservation is available by completing an online form or by calling +372 6 466 800. Average expenses - 400-500 EEK (25-32 Euros) per person.
