The author explains that you can get to the "main attraction", the Table Mountain, by using the cableway. One has "phenomenal" views from here. Especially in the morning or in the evening the "conditions are likely to be first thing", as well as the visibility. He also mentions that the cableway does not operate when it is very windy.
