User review
[Caradawn, 26.03.2008] Nellie Blundell wrote that the "giddy heights" of the Diamant allowed for "spectacular" views on "all" sides. On entering the hotel she described a "high-gloss glamour" with a "masculine edge". Her suite was "dressed" in a "suave" colour scheme and the bathroom was "enormous" with two showerheads. Features included a plasma television, wireless internet, air conditioning and an iPod docking station. For light sleepers, Blundell warned of fire engine noise from the station across the road.

The hotel is located in Kings Cross, which Blundell described as the "jumping place" for a night on the town. Close to the Diamant there are "plenty" of bars, restaurants and "famous" cafes. The train station is a two minute walk away and Sydney harbour about half an hour on foot. The beaches are about 20 minutes drive away.

Blundell mentioned some "fine" seafood from the Penny's Lane restaurant in the foyer. She said that the guests tended to be young couples and "cool" corporates. She concluded that it was an "intimate boutique experience" and that the staff was "charming" and "attentive".
