The hostel is located in the central business district of the city close to all the attractions and amenities that downtown Sydney has to offer. Within a few minutes’ walk from Base Backpackers Hostel guests will find themselves at Darling Harbour with its famous Opera House and Harbour Bridge. For trips further afield the Town Hall train station is located just outside the hostel.
The hostel offers the choice between private rooms and beds in a shared dormitory. For security the private rooms come with their own electric key cards whilst the shared dormitories have lockable luggage lockers. For female guests Base Backpackers Hostel has its own ‘female only’ floor called ‘The Sanctuary’.
A continental breakfast is served daily whilst for evening meals the hostels own bar ‘The Scary Canary’ serves meals every night between 6pm and 9pm. The bar also has daily drinks specials and interactive entertainment.
