[matt123, 12/02/2011] The Hotel is appsolutly fantastic, the views, the staff and the gardens a brilliant, its also good for a short walk as there is a park right next to it and it's right in the middle of highworth and swindon centre. I recomend this to anyone!!!

-Location and Transport-
The Brunel Shopping Centre is located within the pedestrianised Swindon Town Centre.
All of the buses in Swindon go to Fleming Way and / or the bus station which are both located within a five minute walk of the Brunel Centre (and that's five minutes if you walk slowly).
In addition to being so close to the bus station the train station is just another two minutes away so if you are coming from outside of Swindon you can just get on a train and not have to worry about taxi

[Sonia3, 16/12/2009] On Easter Monday there was unexpected hot weather and my mum suggested that we spend the day at Coate Water. I wasn't very enthusiastic, I had been to Coate Water a million times before and wasn't overly keen on spending my precious bank holiday there. However, when my mum suggests something everyone knows that it's not really a suggestion and that we will all end up doing exactly what she wants.
I don't think there's much point in me describing the layout of the park when there's already a map that shows the layout much better than I could ever describe it. http: / / www.swindon.gov.uk / coatebit

We secured a room at the De Vere Hotel, Swindon. Part of the De Vere chain (who also own and run the Village Hotel chain). For some reason I had an underlying belief that many of the outlets were, shall we say tired, so was pleasantly surprised, on arrival, to find a well packed car-park, and a modern looking pleasant hotel.

Swindon is a vibrant, lively town situated along the M4 corridor in the South of England. Entertainment, History, and Shopping can all be found in this bustling town, with such delights as the McArthurGlen Designer outlet store, Museum of the Great Western Railway and a beautiful countryside surrounding the town.
Reaching Swindon is very convenient with excellent transport links running into the city, and is merely an hour away from the Capital, London
