Getting to Three Cliffs is not for the faint-hearted; whichever aspect you approach it from, involves long walks through sandy paths or weatherworn hill walks. Unspoilt by commercialism, once there, there are no lifeguards, shops, and usually very few people; swimming here can be dangerous at times because of strong undercurrents and cross tides.
Nevertheless, if you are fit and able, then Three Cliffs, recently identified on BBC as the best beach in the UK, and in Country Life magazine as the best place iin Britain to see the sunset, then, if you are in the area and able, you really shouldn't leave without seeing this amazing sight.
