[pierrejacques, 05.08.2007] Conde Nast describe the Rosewood Resort Acqualina as "a bit intimidating" at a glance, but the "vast, 51-storey building" which houses it includes a number of condos. The "Tuscan-themed public spaces" lead to "three beautiful pools" and the author considers the hotel to be "the perfect compromise" between the "chaos of South Beach and the calm of the Caribbean". It is located "close to Miami and Fort Lauderdale international airports" and offers "an ESPA spa" which overlooks the "hotel's swathe of white-sand beach" as well as "an extensive day camp for children" and "a branch of Il Mulino" which features "astounding entrées". Guest accommodations, half of which offer ocean views, "are luxurious in a restrained way" and have bathrooms which are described as being "as large as some hotel rooms."
