Rosenstein Castle is home to the biological collection of the State Museum for Natural History of Baden-Wurttemberg.

The collection includes around 150.000 biologics of vertebrates, 750.000 shells and snails, more than 2 million insects and 600.000 plants and is regarded as one of the most important collections in Europe.
The castle itself dates back to 1822 and is surrounded by a vast English garden style park.

Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm
Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays from 10 a m to 6 pm
