[hannah_i, 11/07/2011] The building is of late gothic design, somewhat comparable with Cologne Cathedral. The architecture is extremely intricate, one of the reasons that you just have to see it for yourself. The huge cathedral absolutely dwarves the old market place and surrounding buildings, which although looks amazing, makes it difficult to take a photo of the entire building. Strasbourg itself is a beautiful city, the centre of which is situated on an island surrounded by quays, making it an ideal place for a boat tour around the city. [lolotte, 28/06/2011] L'hotel est très bien situé à strasbourg avec le tram devant la porte pas besoin de s'encombrer de la voiture pour aller au centre ville (3 arret de tram !!!)
les chambres ont été totalement refaite en novembre 2010, beaucoup de gout pour la décoration ! chque chambre à son theme !!
l'acceuil y est très chaleureux, on m'a expliqué qu'il s'agit d'une exploitation familiale ou il fait bon vivre !!
venez sans soucis vous ne serez pas deçu..
en plus en dessous des chambres il y a un restaurant (pas d'odeurs de nourriture dans la chambre) et il est extra !!! cuisine français fraiche pas de s

[MALU, 18/07/2010] During a trip to Strasbourg with a group of 16-year-old German students we also visited the European Parliament; we had already seen the buildings on our sightseeing tour by boat, modern steel and glass ones on either side of the river Ill, not as tall as we had expected, quite nice to behold. The Palais de Europe was the first to be built, it was completed in 1975, council of Europe sessions are held here, the Human Rights Building was inaugurated in 1995, the European Parliament building is the youngest, it‘s from 1999.

Where is Strasbourg?
Strasbourg is in the North East region of France in Alsace which is on the border with Germany. It has a chequered history in that it has been at different times throughout history either in Germany or in France. It is currently of course in France. The region has its own dialect of French known as Alsacien with a combination of French and German words.
Getting to Strasbourg can be an absolute nightmare from the UK involving changes of planes either at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris or Frankfurt am Mein in Germany. Ryan air fly to Baden
