This "well-run hotel" seems to offer "serious competition to the Hilton". Chosen for its "more comfortable rooms and atmosphere", it is located in an ancient "ice factory" and still shows "many of the old steam machines". The lobby, made of marble and painted in "ice-cream colors", "sets the ton" with its "potted palms". The rooms have "various size", the best offering "river views". The beds are "luxurious" and "among the city's finest". The bathrooms are "state-of-the-art". Even the staff is "one of the most professionnal" in the city. Frommers very highly recommends the hotel.

The condition of the hotel is "very good" and the service there is "great" and "very warm". The guest had a "excellent night" at the hotel. They had a "good supper"; the food was "so delicious".
