[kingseany, 12.11.2005] I visited the Vasa Museum solely for the purpose of a photographic commission. Having lived in the area for some years, I can't believe I haven't visited before. The 80kr entrance fee is quite steep, although students are half price, and their are concessions for children and pensioners of course.

Vasamuseet is a museum which holds the warship Vasa who "sank 10 minutes into its maiden voyage in 1628." It stayed here until "it was raised from the seabed in 1961." We are informed that the hull was "preserved by the Baltic mud."
