Stirling Castle
Located on the banks of the Forth, Frommer's tells us Stirling Castle "dates from the Middle Ages" and is on " a dividing line between the Lowlands and the Highlands". The Castle was home to two Kings,James IV and James V both of whom extended parts, the latter we are told added "classic Renaissance style, then relatively unknown in Britain". [more...]
