The House on the Hill Toy Museum is located in Stansted Mountfitched, directly next to Mountfitched Castle. It is home to the largest privately-owned toy collection in Europe and features more than 80.000 exhibits. Description:	The House on the Hill invites you to view its collection of approximatley 80000 exhibits within it's 7.500sq.ft. The exhibiton, acknowledged to be one of the largest and most important ones in the world, contains toys and memorabilia ranging from teddy bears, dolls, Hornby trains, military toys and seaside end-of-the-pier amusement machines (which can be tried) to a display of film, theatre and rock'n'roll memorabilia. Within the museum you can find a collector shop where anything from antique dolls to hand-signed autographs can be purchased. The museum is open daily throughout the year from 10am to 5pm (Christmas excluded)
