Fun for all the family
Alton towers is one of the UK's most loved them parks. It is made up of a good mix of tame rides and thrill rides. The park is set in it's own grounds with it's own home. Scream if you want to go faster!
It's the first Saturday of the school summer holidays. Forecasters say we are in for a great weekend with lots of sun and high temperatures. Alton Towers here we come! Description: Alton Towers is one of the UK's largest theme parks and attracts over 2.5 million visitors every year. It is located on the site of a former country house that was also called Alton Towers. There are large landscaped gardens that surround this theme park and there are also two hotels within the complex.
The theme park is open from mid March until early November. Gates open at 9.30am but some rides and attractions do not open until10am.Closing times vary but are around one hour before dusk.
