The author, amcgrath, points out that the hotel grounds are "beautiful" and come with gardens and an adjoining forest. The condition of the rooms is fine, the decor "elegant". He stayed in a 2-bedroom-"unit" and thinks that this was "very spacious" and "extremely clean". The outside pool was "really nice", the restaurant "wonderful" ("great food", good value for money) and the employees turned out to be "extremely friendly" and helpful. He concludes his opinion by emphasizing that he was "thoroughly impressed with the grounds and the accommodations". He rates the place with 4 out of 5 points. [more]

The author, wlrn99, starts by describing the Tara Manor Inn as a "beautiful hotel" in the suburbs of St. Andrews (but still "close to the town"). The building used to be the residence of Sir Tupper and come with "a lot of architectual and decorative appeal". Wlrn99 thinks that his "very clean" room was "very tastefully" decorated and provided even a whirlpool. It was fitted with everything that "was needed". The employees were "more than accomodating" and the stay turned out to be a "fantastic experience". The author rates this establishment with 5 out of 5 points.
