For over 400 years this small cosy coaching inn just outside St Andrews has been offering great hospitality. These days that hospitality has been brought right up to date with all bedrooms been refurbished in a modern light fashion. The lounge offers thick leather sofas, leather chairs, open log fires (winter) what more could you want from this area - maybe some cocktails and great beers. We also stock a range of Orkney Ales served in pewter tankards. The restaurant has attracted many awards for its food and wine list. 2 rosettes for the last 12 years from the AA. This year we have been awarded the Gold award for customer service by Visit Scotland and have also won the prestigious best UK award for best small music venue 2009.

This 400 year old coaching Inn is situated just 5 miles from the famous golfing town of St Andrews. They pride themselves on the warmth of their welcome, the great food and ales they serve. The hotel offers cosy surroundings with open log fires and lots of things to do both within the Inn and around it. The present Inn has been established for over 200 years and it has been tastefully modernised and now offers 14 ensuite, very comfortable rooms, all individually designed with comfort in mind. The Stable which is situated in the oldest part of the Inn is now a private function room.

Completely renovated in 2004, this former country inn has a 400-year-old history and comprises a single storey offering a total of 13 rooms. A bar, a pub and a restaurant with non-smoking area are all available for guests to make use of. Additionally, a public Internet terminal, car park and garage facilities are on offer. Room and laundry services complete the amenities on offer.
