[martanikolova, 07/01/2012] I am not really sure hot to feel about this place. It is something very precious but not well-maintained and I really hope it gets better. It is a good option to spend some quality time with your family and if you have kids, I am sure they will enjoy the tour. The zoo is the home of a lot of animals. Depending on the time of your visit, some of them might be missing, but you could still see a lot. [jaspa44, 27/10/2010] we have been to many zoos and wild life parks all over the world, sydney, singapore, auckland, christchurch thailand etc and this by far is the best value for money...... although could be seen as contrivestial,?. amazing place where you can see, feel, and smell the animals, my son said he could feel the breath of the tigers. [flower1, 24/06/2009] I visited Sofia Zoo in the late afrernoon at 17.30 pm in June 2009. This time wasn't the best for visit because for my surprise half of the cages of the animals were empty. When I asked later for explanation the answer was that the stuff drives in the animals for feeding at 17.00 pm. But the zoo is very big and I succeeded to take pictures of many animals and birds there.
