[martanikolova, 07/01/2012] Whenever I feel bad and need some spiritual help, I go to this church. It is believed that if you write a letter to Serafim, your wishes will come true. I don't know if this is real, but I know that every time I go there and I wish for something it happens. Maybe it is because I start believing more after I had been there, I don't know. But this place for me is magical and fills me with belief and harmony and I love going there. [Ani, 27/12/2007] The church is in the center of Sofia. Have an afternoon to walk around starting from Sheraton, next you would pass by the Presidium, than the national Bank and the National Gallery and next is where the Russian church stands. The famous Alexander Nevski cathedral is just 5 minutes walking from the church as well the Parliament. The colorful church was finished in 1913 after 9 years building by a project of the famous Russian architect - Preobrajenski.
