The aAgeon Hotel in Skala Kalloni on the Greek island of Lesbos is a place to come if you appreciate a peaceful and relaxing holiday. It is situated in a rural location about a 10 minute walk to the beach and 15 minutes to the town square where the majority of tavernas are located The hotel has about 50 rooms with air conditioning. The furnishing are simple but in good condition. The balcony was large and by Greek standards the bathroom was excellent. The staff were friendly and could not be more helpful. Buffet breakfast on the terrace was a delight. although there was a limited choice mainly cold meats and cheese. Highly recommended for couples who want to get away from the rat race.
