[12.05.2008] After visiting the National Palace in the centre of Sintra, we took a taxi (there‘s also a bus service) to the Palácio da Pena (approximately 5 km out of town). [12.05.2008] It‘s possible to get to Sintra from Lisbon directly but I can‘t tell you anything about this as we went to Cascais first, the seaside town at the mouth of the river Tejo, and took a bus from there.
