For a reasonable price you can take a cold beer, wine or other drink out of the fridge or an ice cream out of the freezer.

We are situated in a quiet nature area where specific birds live. A 10-minute drive away is Silves, the old capital of the Algarve in times of the Moorish. This nice little city has restaurants, banks, an open-air theatre, and of course the old castle. In the neighbourhood you can walk, mountain bike, play golf (several courses) or take part in water sports. Within a 20-minute drive you will find the Algarve Shopping Centre, KrazyWorld, ZooMarine, Slide and Splash (water park) and LagosZoo. To make the most of your stay, we highly recommend that you bring a car.Directions from the Airport Faro / A22:
- Driving on the A22, take the exit for Silves.
- Take the exit Estaçao (station).
- At the 1st roundabout, go right.
- At the next roundabout take the direction to Arrochela / Estômbar.
- You are on a badly paved road. When you enter the town of Lagoa this road turns very well at once. From this point, it takes exactly 1,1 km to our turn-off to the right. This turn off is recognisable by the STOP sign and 3 colored (red, blue and light green) big stones.
- Follow the sandy road (700 m) and you will find Tapada do Gramacho at the end.This stylish hotel, restored from a traditional farm house, is pleasantly situated near the River Arade and 15 min. driving from several main beaches, allowing you to submerge yourself in the beautiful natural surroundings.
Nevertheless, this oasis of peace is near to everything that the Algarve has to offer. Quinta Tapada do Gramacho has a large open garden, so you can view the whole valley. The are several terraces, a roof terrace, near the shared pool (10x5m), and a main terrace in front of the lounge. The pool is filled with water from our own well!
Children are most welcome and will really enjoy spending time in the play garden and the pool. With just 6 rooms, Quinta Tapada do Gramacho will feel like an intimate home from home.Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children from 0 to 4 years are charged EUR 25.00 per stay for cots.
All older children or adults are charged 100 % of the room stay per night when using existing bedding.
Extra beds are not available.
Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
Deposit Policy: 20 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable.
VAT and city / tourist taxes: VAT is included.

Internet: Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.
