[umairicanadian, 01/06/2011] While Angkor Wat may be the main reason people come to Siem Reap, this is a close second in its appeal. The large, smirking faces illuminate the temple in a strangely dark fashion. maybe it's the sheer size of each face, maybe it's the ubiquity of them across the top of the temple, maybe it's the discoloration and deterioration caused by years of weather; I am really not sure. What I do know is that you will find yourself catching fleeting glances over your shoulder as you walk away to the next temple, wondering just how impactful this place was hundreds of years ago.
[ScoteJerry, 23/05/2011] we are a couple from China, love travelling and always want a comfortable place to stay, in senses of friendliness and good service from the staff.
This is the first time we stayed in a budget hotel with many services that can only be found in a stars hotel. Almost everything we need during our stay, they could provide it, from tour info, Apsara performance, bus ticket, tuk-tuk or car driver, etc.
The staffs were excellent in english and very attentive to what we needed during our stay, they explained everything and informatives unlike other accomodations we had before and after Siem Rie

[Gris2005, 19/01/2011] We spent 5 days in this wonderfull eco resort and found there an amazing value. We enjoyed the charm of the place, the tropical garden, the swimming pool and eco-contruction. Everything's has been created to give a friendly athmosphere out off the hassle of downtown. Prefer the cambodian food which is excellent and a good value. Use their free bike to discover the area inmcluding countryside, the western baray and the tonle sap. Not far from the temple (around 10 minutes with moto taxi ), we love the location and the people there. But if you want to enjoy siem reap by night this is not a pla

[Gris2005, 19/01/2011] Samatoa is a fair trade project which have support more than 200 underprivileged cambodian women to learn a decent job. The women are trained by international experts to be weavers, dressmakers or tailors. Samatoa produces their own quality silk and then offer tailor made service in Siem Reap. You can choose through theirs collections of fashion clothing designed by famous french designers or bring your own models, choose the quality of silk that you like and the colors. Then, come back 24 hours later for fitting. It usually needs to come back few hours later to be adjusted. The quality of tai

[Jsack12, 25/12/2010] This place was amazing. After a horrible day getting into Cambodia from Thailand, arriving at Palm Garden Lodge felt like a dream. The staff was very kind and pretty helpful. The place itself is beautiful and wonderfully decorated. Clean rooms with A / C, hot water, mini bar, TV 120 channels and free wifi. Booked a full tour of all the temples without problem. Even after I checked out, they still took care of us. Excellent - I wish all hostels were like this!
[Tania2007, 09/12/2010] Very good work they do at Samatoa. Fast and efficient, in 24h, they ''made to measure''' your own dress using the wonderful golden silk thread. A new shop has opened in the ground floor of Lucky Mall (Sivatha Boulevard). High quality guarantee.
[Mikecolle, 04/11/2010] First, this is a very cheap hostel for a deluxe room with Double King size bed. I am extremely satisfied with my room.
Location wise, it is just at the middle of the city, 10mn walking distance to pub street, and just a few of block to night market, old market and Artisan D’ Angkor.
There is one restaurant / bar just next to the hotel, this is very convenient, and other is terrace with green garden, if you are lazy to walk to the city center, should enjoy with free fish massage. Free internet wifi and 2 desktops ready for you.It was lovely hostel in Asia.
[RunnyHunnyBee, 27/08/2010] This is probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. In French Colonial style, it is a trip back in time, and even has its own 3 vintage Citroen cars parked at the front, which are available for hire.
The staff were all impeccably presented and courteous, and we were greeted upon arrival with an ice-cold fruit drink and scented cold towel. Check-in was fairly quick, and we were taken to our room via the old fashioned gated lift. This is a lovely touch, in keeping with the style of the hotel, though it is actually tiny and quite awkward with luggage. The stairs are adjacent to the

[thomsion12, 17/08/2010] We had a great stay here "Advisor Angkor Villa" Staffs were friendly and helpful; their service was great and personal tour with reasonable price. The rooms were clean and got fresh towels each day. Our room rate was including (breakfast, pick up, tuk tuk around town and market, internet). Really loved and missed all people in Cambodia. Thank you for a great stay.
[fishbob, 11/07/2010] I had a wonderful stay at the Palm Garden Lodge.
Like the name suggests, it has a lovely terasse and garden where guests can spend the evening having a drink or chatting with friends.
It's very close to the night markets and bar streets, which is great if you're like me and you always come back from the markets with a dozen bags of clothes!
No hesitation for me, I'd stay here again!
[hanmark, 16/04/2010] I first came to Siem Reap in April, 2010. The cleaning staffs do their job very carefully and there's never safety problem. So, all of staffs were very good friends and friendly. I really enjoyed visit to Siem Reap and Angkor very much, and reasonable price with good driver. I kept on going back again and again!
[Thomson, 19/03/2010] Mrs.Solida, the owner of Palm Garden Lodge, as well as all the staffs were very kind and helpful anytime. They arranged bus tickets did necessary phone calls for you at any time. In front of the hostel were always some Tuk Tuk drivers who work for the Lodge. Their prices are fixed are really fair to visit Angkot wat or somewhere in Siem Reap. Palm Garden Lodge even offers free shuttle to Pub Street and Old Market. The Location was great, quiet place with garden and only 3 minutes by Tuk Tuk to the main street with plenty of restaurants, bars, shops. Room and bathroom was cleaned every day. Fre

[Jamy23, 16/01/2010] Le malraux is an outstanding french restaurant in the heart of siem reap. The food is excellent and the staff efficient and friendly !
I would recomend you the seafood salad with red wine Chateau de La Tourte.
Enjoy !
Bravo Osmose.
[Jo2010, 15/01/2010] Suites And Sweet is an unique boutique hotel, different from all the others. I love the spacious room, nicely decorated, the private pool and the balcony view on a water lily pond.
The staff here are outstanding. They are not only friendly and professional but very efficient, taking care about the small details for our best confort. They had organized my visit to the temple, the lake and the countryside with many special arrangements which made my trip very special, off the beaten track, avoiding the crown and offering to dicover the real cambodian lifestyle. The lunch in a local family on a
