The Sheffield Botanical Gardens are located just outside Sheffield City Centre and cover an area of 19 acres. These Gardens opened in 1836. The focal point of these Gardens is a huge glass pavillion. The Botanical Gardens have recently undergone a £6.6 million (€9.9 million) restoration programme. The gardens have facilities and parking for disabled patrons. There is also a restaurant and souvenir shop. Access is free and the Gardens are open every day of the year. |
