[trivago traveller, 26/03/2011] I just loved Wortley Hall, I first used the Hall attending a conference then decided to visit with my husband staying on a Dinner B&B Offer which is extremly good value for money! The restaurant food was wonderful and the staff are all helpful and friendly you can tell you they care about you and you are not just a number as in many hotels. If you have never been give it a go you will love it!
[PaulDavid, 09/12/2009] Had a great stay at wortley Hall, had both Bar meal and meal in restaurant both were of a high standard and good value as were the drinks in the bar! Our room was clean and tidy and serviced well everyday. We found all staff to be very friendly and helpful. The Grounds are beautiful, we will definatley be going back.

The Fondant Potato that was served with the chicken was excellent and wonderfully Presented. A new wine list had apparently just been put in place and our wine choice was perfect and recomended by the staff.
If you like quality food rather than fast food you are in for a treat!

trivago traveller, 04/11/2009] Our anniversary dinner was ruined by failures of the restaurant at Wortley Hall.
The portions of food are not nouveau cuisine - the starters were quite simply minute and very poor value for rmoney.
Ditto for most of the main courses.
The wrong main course was served to one of the key guests. The replacement arrived 10 minutes later when everybody else had finished. No hot vegetabeles were brought with the replacement main course. The vegetable (1 instead of 2) arrived 10 minutes later at which point the meat would have been cold if I had not eaten it without veg.
