The Washington is a traditional two room public house that dates from the early 1800's. It offers a choice of Real Ales as well as more traditional beers, wines and spirits. In recent years The Washington has built up a reputation for live bands and there are live acts that perform here two or three times a week. This public house is co-owned by a former member of the band The Pulp and the walls are adorned with memorabilia relating to them, including gold discs and tour posters. The opening hours are: 11 am until 11 pm Monday to Thursday 11 am until 12 midnight Friday and Saturday 12 noon until 10.30 pm Sunday There is no entry charge even when live acts are performing. |
