The 17th century country house is regarded as one of England's grandest and over 30 of its decorated rooms are open for visitors to explore. Exhibits inside the house include a collection of paintings by old Masters like Holbein and Canaletto and a collection of English tapestries.
The park and gardens that surround the house have been designed by Capability Brown and include a Victorian walled kitchen garden, Elysian Garden cascade, several ornate bridges that cross the river Cam and more.
There is a tea room, parking facilities and shop on the grounds and wheelchairs can be hired, although it is necessary to book in advance.
