Michelin calls the cathedral of Sevilla a "highlight" and rates it with 3 of 3 stars. The building is "impressive in its dimensions" and it has a "massive" exterior. Some parts are "modern" and some include "beautiful sculptures". It was build with Renaissance influence. The interior is striking in its "richness and size" and has a "extraordinary height". The chancel is "unbelievable rich" decorated and the "immense" altarpiece is "the largest" in Spain. (Page 30 - 34)

The Cathedral of Sevilla, is "one of the world's largest cathedrals", inside which you'll find "a bounty of treasured art and artisanry". It is situated just next to the "main Almohad mosque, with the mosque's minaret, La Giralda". Here stands Christopher Columbus' tomb. La Giralda is described by the Lonely Planet Guide as being "superbly proportioned and decorated", a "near perfect example of Islamic building".
